ANNIVERSARY SKELETON

CHRONOGRAPH“1910-2010”

CHRONOGRAPH“1910-2010”

Watch manufacturer, AEROWATCH SA, based in Saignelégier, climbs to a new level by proposing an exceptional time-keeper. In fact, with the model “Anniversary Skeleton Chronograph”, the Jura based firm celebrating its 100’s anniversary, pays homage to a century of continuous watch-making activity.

With the aim of maintaining an always irreproachable value for money, AEROWATCH chose steel as material for its case of 42,00mm of diameter. This classical case recaptures some archetypes of 1910, inspired by pocket watches. This model is equipped with a domed sapphire glass on the dial side, as well as flat sapphire glass on the movement side.

With its hand-made skeleton movement, its visible mechanism, its open barrel, as well as a hand-engraved decoration; each “Anniversary Skeleton Chronograph” is unique. An open dial reveals the fascinating and complex interior of the movement. Skilful and expert hands have accomplished a unique chiselling of hundreds of pieces composing this last one.

The coffee-brown leather strap fitted with a personalised folding clasp to secure this time-keeper to the happy purchaser.

This new realisation proves once again that the brand is eager to offer products of quality at accessible prices, to a clientele of connoisseurs and amateurs of remarkable horology.

This unique time piece, manufactured as a Limited Edition, will be available from exclusive AEROWATCH retailers.

Aspen

Meet me at the top

Elle McPherson - René van AssAspen. The enchanting name alone evokes images of a glamorous setting that boasts glorious powdered slopes and stunning ridges and peaks. Aspen's heritage comes to life often times through books and images. It is now also embodied in a luxury brand that honors the Aspen name and feel: Aspen Jewelry and Watches. Aspen One -the first piece released by the brand- pays tribute to Aspen Mountain, better known as Ajax.

Aspen One, the first timepiece from Aspen Jewelry and Watches is a tribute to Ajax, as well as to Stenmark and to Aspen itself. Its elevation of 3,267 feet from the base of the mountain to its peak forms the basis for Aspen One's limited edition. With every timepiece comes a virtual and unique foot of this spectacular mountain. A monument that stands on top of Aspen Mountain will carry the name of each Aspen One owner. Wear Aspen One on Ajax, and use the compass ring to locate mountains, cities, and states that surround you.

March 10, 2010 (Aspen, Colorado, USA)  - A new design titled The Black Piste has been added to the Aspen One timepiece collection. This new model has already been dubbed “The Understatement Watch.”

Aspen One is the first luxury timepiece introduced by the Swiss-based company Aspen Jewelry and Watches. Aspen One is a limited edition, Swiss-made timepiece, and is a tribute to Aspen and its crown jewel, Aspen Mountain.

FIRST BLACK PISTE PRESENTED TO A SKI ICON

On December  5 in Aspen, Colorado, founder and CEO of Aspen Jewelry and Watches René van Ass presented the first Black Piste to Klaus Obermeyer, an international icon who resides in the American ski resort. This pioneer of the mountains is the founder of Obermeyer Sport, a high-tech clothing brand, whose headquarters is based in Aspen. Recently, Klaus Obermeyer turned ninety years old, and he is still skiing every day.

UNIQUE FEATURES OF ASPEN ONE

All models of Aspen One boast unique elements that are specific to Aspen. A specially designed compass shows you where you are on top of Aspen Mountain. The number four on the dial is orange, which is the time to change your ski strap to your après-ski strap (done in a few seconds with a technique similar to removing a ski from a boot). In keeping with the tradition of the Ute Indians of Aspen, this color symbolizes prosperity. Orange is also the color of mountain security. With your watch comes a pair of beautiful deerskin gloves, specially made for Aspen One. One of the gloves has a cut-away, so you can always see your Aspen One.

Aspen one is a tribute to Aspen Mountain, the bold mountain commonly referred to as Ajax. The elevation of 3,276 feet from the base of the mountain to its peak is the basis for Aspen One's limited edition. By buying this watch, you buy one virtual foot of this glorious mountain. This fact will be shown in a delicate way on the mountain. In a beautiful location named the Black Diamond, a special monument has been constructed. Three rock formations will feature the names of all watch buyers and their unique virtual elevation number.

Aspen jewelry and watches is looking for a distribution partner for the Indian market. For further information please contact René van Ass on rva@aspenjewelryandwatches.com
