Harry Winston introduces the Midnight Minute Repeater, a limited edition timepiece celebrating the refinement and complexity of one of the most exclusive horological complications.

Sleek and sophisticated, the round 42 mm case is fitted with a self-winding mechanical movement. An open dial design allows for a unique view of the minute repeater mechanism that can be activated by pressing the push piece situated at 8 o’clock. Surrounded by a gold ring, a hollowed window -at the top left corner -brings emphasis to the technical innovation: two hammers gracefully engraved with Harry Winston’s initials, located on the exterior of the movement.

The circular and delicate finish of the dial gives the Midnight Minute Repeater a touch of elegance and formality. Excentered time indication, iconic arches, and a single sparkling diamond adorning the off-set window reflect Harry Winston recognizable design signature. This striking decoration keeps Harry Winston’s commitment to tradition and daring designs.

Created to audibly indicate time on demand - chiming distinct tones: low pitch for hours, altering low and high pitch for quarter hours, and high pitch for minutes - minute repeaters require both extreme technical and musical precision. The Harry Winston Midnight Minute Repeater is a truly refined creation for the connoisseur seeking to wear only the finest timepiece designs and complications. The edition is limited to 40 pieces in rose gold and 40 pieces in white gold with the option of a silver or dark dial.

Expanding on its successful MERIDIIST model in 316L stainless steel TAG Heuer has enhanced its signature communication instrument with a new, high-technology finish and powerful design aesthetic. Inspired by the TAG Heuer Grand Carrera Calibre 17 RS 2, the latest MERIDIIST collection evokes the brand’s racing DNA and history of innovation. A bold combination of black, white and red complement the advanced technology and streamlined design of the communication instruments.

Like the dashboard control panels of a GT sports car, The MERIDIIST is a precision instrument in line with a great tradition - TAG Heuer was the first watch company to develop chronograph dashboards for sports cars in the early 20th century. Monitor time, even in your breast pocket, with a dual time display including an OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) screen mounted at the top. Control communication with a dual-function switch to monitor incoming calls, an ultrasensitive antenna for assured reception, and a loudspeaker with the capacity to produce 100dB at a distance of 5 cm. Exceptional battery life allows for 28 days of stand-by power or 7 hours of continuous talk time.

THE POWER OF DESIGN
Though each MERIDIIST model has its own distinctive finish, feel, and character, the core construction of all instruments is a finely crafted, stainless steel body with a scratch-resistant 60.5-carat sapphire crystal display. Bespoke digital engineering and more than 430 mechanical components assembled by hand - many of which are derived from the legendary TAG Heuer chronographs – ensure that the MERIDIIST instruments keep company with the world’s finest timepieces.

The all-black body and bright red TAG Heuer logo on the newest MERIDIIST exemplifies the essence of speed, power and performance that is the inspiration for this line. The black color is achieved by a high-technology surface application process, PVD (physical vacuum deposit) that surpasses a simple, painted surface. In temperature-controlled conditions and through the process of ionization, titanium carbide is fixed to the steel body resulting in an ultra-fine coating only micro millimeters thick. This black surface adds extreme durability and resistance to natural elements and surface scratching. It may not shine like steel, but value-added design technology makes for an expression of understated power and prestige.

he back cover adds the final touch of luxury to the device and is available in a choice of black or white alligator skin, black “soft-touch” rubber, or red or black calfskin leather. The black calfskin leather has red stitching for contrast and sporty feel.
