Victory in Dubai
 AP Ambassador Miguel Angel Jiménez won the Dubai Desert Classic golf tournament last Sunday. The 46-year old professional golfer from Spain won the Omega Dubai Desert Classic Tournament on Sunday, Feburary 7. He defeated Lee Westwood at the 3rd play-off hole - the two players were tied at eleven under par after the regular 72 holes. This victory is Jiménez' 16th career title - the 9th he claims in his 40s - and enables him to climb up the world ranking to #30.

launched artist Hemi Bawa’s Biography
 The Harry Winston Boutique India recognized the work of the renowned artist Hemi Bawa, with the launch of her biography entitled “HEMI BAWA” written by Alka Pandey, at a glittering event held at the Emporio in New Delhi, yesterday. The book, which traces her journey that began with painting to her work with glass, was launched by Gurinder Singh Sahni, Harry Winston Boutique Director, and Marc Antoine Abadie, Regional Director, Harry Winston. Hemi Bawa is one amongst the few Indian contemporary artists who has evolved with time and established new standards of creativity in Indian Art.
Speaking on the occasion Gurinder Singh Sahni, Harry Winston Boutique Director said “The association between Harry Winston and Hemi Bawa is clearly visible through Hemi Bawa’s transformation of glass into art and Harry Winston’s transformation of diamonds into works of art. This felicitation today, is yet another testament of Harry Winston’s commitment to honor well-known figures from the world of art, culture and entertainment”.
Ms. Hemi Bawa added, “It gives me immense pleasure that an iconic brand like Harry Winston has recognized my work and my contribution to contemporary Indian art.”
The evening marked the unveiling of an exhibition of exquisite timepieces from the house of Harry Winston. The spectacular Harry Winston timepieces on display included high complication watches such as the Opus 9 and the Histoire de Tourbillion for men. Also on display were a stunning collection of jeweled watches crafted with dazzling diamonds - the Lattice and the Marquesa Diamond Drop for woman. This luxurious collection will be on display at the Harry Winston Boutique at the Emporio.
