New showroom in Mumbai

Premium Japanese watch maker CITIZEN Watches Co. Ltd. unveiled the RADIO CONTROL WATCH CALIBRE H610, which is a unique watch designed to receive standard time radio-waves from 5 stations including Germany, the U.S.A., Japan (east and west), and China. As a result, it not only offers greater accuracy but added convenience too. On receiving the radio waves, it automatically corrects the time and date, allowing a smooth transition of time without the user having to worry about it. For world time, users can choose from 26 cities and UTC.

From the multi-layered dial that captures light using the Eco-Drive technology and receives multi-band radio reception, to the company’s signature flight pilot design, the watch has got it all! The watch also comes with power reserve indicator, alarm, and water resistant up to 20 bar. The watch is priced at approx: Rs.66, 000. 

Coinciding with this exemplary piece, Citizen Watches Co. Ltd. inaugurated another exclusive showroom at Bandra and also launched Radio Controlled Watch Caliber H610. The showroom was inaugurated by  Rahul Bose (acclaimed Bollywood actor) and Isamu Kawaguchi (M.D., CITIZEN Watches (India) Pvt. Ltd.). On the occasion of inaugurating the showroom, Isamu Kawaguchi, M.D, CITIZEN Watches (India) Pvt. Ltd., stated, “CITIZEN plans to expand its reach, penetrating through the upper middle class in India. Our Bandra showroom makes for a convenient and fitting location for consumers. The exclusive Bandra showroom offers an array of watches, perfectly blended with technology of time in style priced between Rs. 3000 – 66,000.”

Rahul Bose added, “The Radio controlled watch is beautifully synchronized with technology and style. As a frequent traveler across the globe, it is difficult to plan and adjust time schedule of various countries when travelling. But the Radio Controlled watch will make it convenient to move across the continents and easily adjust time. The Pilot watch design also gives an ecstatic look to the watch.”

CITIZEN Watches are well established in the vicinity of Mumbai with two exclusive showrooms in the city and are planning to open one more, along with five to seven exclusive across India. Elaborating on marketing plans, Kawaguchi, commented, “Mumbai is a large domain of lifestyle consumers. Opening exclusive showrooms, giving an international experience to the class and style of time, we aim to achieve a market share of 15% in the mid segment of upper middle class.”
